1. Open the front panel, by pressing the right button to lift the casing and dislodged the batteries. will look 4 bolts that secure the hard drive which will be opened after opening the case back.
2. Open the rear panel by opening the 2 pieces of small bolts. after that go back 2 pieces bolt that secures the hard drive & clips that hold the front casing.
3. I just open the existing bolts on the front panel (there are 4 pieces). after that, sort of lift the small cover on the right (located right over the button to select the song). newly appointed PCB and its hard drive.
4. release the hard drive from its slot (kind of like a hard drive laptop hard drive with IDE interface), replace with a capacity that you want. I switched to Samsung 160GB IDE (Creative FUJITSU 60gb IDE).
5. Reinstall all of the sequence 3, 2, 1. slowly in the installation again, not too forced. because everything is in conformity with the body of the protagonist.
6. after everything is installed, we flash FIRMWARE make the new occupants, 160GB. a few items needed to make the flash of the protagonist:
a. creative nomad zen extra 160GB + usb + charged.
b. windows XP sp2 + windows media player 10
c. the latest firmware from creative.com for these nomads.
